Les lézards à collier de l’Est sont de petits lézards désertiques très colorés et actifs qui ne passent pas inaperçus. Ils utiliseront tout l’espace que vous leur offrirez en sautant sur les roches, branches et plateformes. Vous l’aurez deviné, ils sont très intéressants à observer en terrarium! Ils sont également dociles et manipulables, ce qui en fait un petit lézard tout à fait attachant.
De 2011 à 2014, nous avons fait l’élevage d’une autre espèce de lézard à collier (C. bicinctores). À ce moment-là, la demande pour ces lézards était moindre et à contrecœur nous avions délaissé le projet. Puisque ces lézards nous manquaient, quatre ans plus tard, nous retentons l’expérience avec leur cousin, les C. collaris.

Eastern collared lizards are small, colorful and active desert lizards that do not go unnoticed. They will use all the space that you will offer them by jumping on rocks, branches and platforms. You guessed it, they are very interesting to watch in a terrarium! They are also docile and manipulable, which make it an endearing small lizard.
From 2011 to 2014, we were breeding another species of collared lizard (C. bicinctores). At that time, the demand for these lizards was less and reluctantly we had to abandon the project. Since we were missing these lizards, four years later, we try the experiment again with their cousin, C. collaris.
