Le 21 février dernier, nous avons eu une ponte surprise! Une femelle et un mâle Uromastyx geyri, de passage chez nous (en deuxième chance), se sont accouplés le 11 janvier dernier. Résultat: 17 oeufs dont 15 fertiles.
La femelle, nommé Sugar, s'est déjà trouvé un foyer, mais nous attendons qu'elle reprenne son poids avant de la laisser partir dans sa nouvelle famille. Par contre, le mâle, Sunny, est toujours à la recherche d'un foyer, ainsi qu'une autre femelle, Pirate. Pour plus d'informations à leurs sujet, visitez notre section "Deuxième chance".

On February 21st, we had a surprise clutch! A female and a male Uromastyx geyri, temporarily with us (In our "Second Chance" section), mated on January 11th. The result: 17 eggs of which 15 are fertile.
The female, named Sugar, has already found a home, but we are waiting that she gain back her weight before letting her go in her new family. However, the male, Sunny, is still looking for a new home, as well as another female, Pirate. For more information on them, visit our "Second Chance" section.

Le 3 février dernier, Candy, notre jeune femelle dragon barbu a fait sa deuxième portée de 2016. Résultat: 36 œufs, mais seulement 25 sont fertiles.

On February 3rd, Candy, our young bearded dragon female laid her second 2016 clutch. The result: 36 eggs, of which only 25 are fertile.

Le 26 et 27 janvier, les 8 bébés Chuckwallas de la seconde ponte 2015 de Nova sont nés.

On January 26th and 27th, all 8 Chuckwallas babies from Nova's second 2015 clutch hatched.

Hier, le 13 janvier, Candy, notre jeune femelle dragon barbu a fait sa première portée de 2016. Résultat: 32 œufs, mais seulement 18 sont fertiles car nous avons été un peu en retard pour lui présenter son mâle.

Yesterday, January 13th, Candy, our young bearded dragon female laid her first 2016 clutch. The result: 32 eggs, of which only 18 are fertile, since we were late to introduce her male.

Nous avons eu une superbe surprise à notre retour de vacances en octobre lorsqu'on a constaté des accouplements entre Nova et Galaxy. Comme nous ne savions pas si cela aurait donné des oeufs féconds, nous préférions attendre avant d'annoncer la nouvelle.
Mais voilà, hier le 25 novembre, Nova a pondu 8 beaux oeufs féconds. Nous sommes très contents de pouvoir avoir d'autres bébés de cette espèce super intéressante, qui a su nous charmer ainsi que plusieurs de nos clients.

We had a fantastic surprise after our holiday, back in October, when we saw matings between Nova and Galaxy. Since we didn't know if this would results in fertile eggs, we preferred to wait before announcing the news.
But, yesterday November 25, Nova laid 8 beautiful fertile eggs. We are very happy to have other babies of this super interesting species, which charmed us and also many of our clients.
