L'histoire de Gaspar:
Gaspar est un Uromastyx geyri adulte d’environ 14 ans (âge estimé) qui nous a été apporté par une famille qui devait s’en départir il y a quelques années. Nous avons alors pensé que ce serait un bon compagnon pour notre femelle Aurora. Ils vivent ensemble en harmonie, mais malheureusement, les accouplements ne fonctionnent pas bien. Aurora a eu des bébés avec lui en 2022 et plus rien pour les deux années suivantes, les œufs résultants étaient infertiles. Comme nous sommes éleveurs et que nous souhaitons avoir des bébés Uromastyx, nous devons laisser aller Gaspar dans une famille qui saura en prendre soin.
Gaspar se laisse manipuler et est souvent sorti de sa cachette. Il aime observer ce que l’on fait et est assez gourmand. Il fera un bon compagnon pour une famille avec ou sans enfant.
Ayant un âge plus avancé, ceci vous permet d’avoir un Uromastyx avec un engagement moins grand qu’avec un bébé (espérance de vie de 20+ ans).
The story of Gaspar:
Gaspar is an Uromastyx geyri adult of around 14 years old (estimated age) who was brought to us by a family who had to get rid of him a few years ago. We then thought it would be a good companion for our female Aurora. They live together in harmony, but unfortunately the breeding did not work well. Aurora had babies with him in 2022 and then nothing for the next two years, with all the eggs being infertile. As we are breeders and we want to have Uromastyx babies, we must let Gaspar go to a family who will take good care of him.
Gaspar allows himself to be manipulated and often comes out of his hiding. He likes to observe what we do and is quite glutton. He will make a good companion for a family with or without children.
Being of an older age, this allows you to have an Uromastyx with less commitment than with a baby (life expectancy of 20+ years).
