L'histoire de Dante:
Ce magnifique mâle Uromastyx ornata d’un vert flamboyant est né en 2013 de la portée de Crystal & Saphir (#4). Il a toujours été chez le même propriétaire qui en a bien pris soin. Suite à un déménagement, il a préféré nous le remettre pour que nous puissions lui trouver une nouvelle famille.
Dante est n’a pas souvent été manipulé et il est un peu craintif. Il n’est pas agressif du tout, mais quand nous passons près de son terrarium, il va se cacher. C’est ce qu’on observe ici, mais il est encore en période d’adaptation et c’est un comportement qui peut changer avec le temps et de la patience.
Nous ne pensons pas qu’il serait adéquat pour des enfants. Si vous êtes un adulte pour qui ce n’est pas nécessaire de manipuler l’animal à tout prix et que vous êtes prêts à prendre le temps nécessaire, c’est un animal qui peut vous convenir.
Outre cela, il mange très bien et est en excellente forme. Dante pourrait devenir un reproducteur, mais il n’a jamais été reproduit. Nous ne conseillons pas de le garder à temps plein avec une femelle car il est très difficile de faire cohabiter des Uromastyx ornata.

This magnificent flamboyant green male Uromastyx ornata was born in 2013 from the clutch of Crystal & Saphir (#4). He has always been with the same owner who took good care of him. Following a move, he preferred to give him back to us so that we could find him a new family.
Dante has not been handled often and is a little timid. He is not aggressive at all, but when we pass near his terrarium, he will hide. This is what we observe here, but he is still in the adaptation period with us and it is a behavior that can change with time and patience.
We do not think it would be suitable for children. If you are an adult for whom it is not necessary to handle the animal at all costs and you are ready to take the necessary time with him, this is an animal that may be suitable for you.
Besides that, he eats very well and is in excellent shape. Dante could become a breeder, but he was never bred. We do not recommend keeping him full-time with a female because it is very difficult to get Uromastyx ornata to cohabit.
